This Notice explains what totomoko.com stores in your browser, why, and what it does not store. It is short because the answer is almost nothing. It forms part of the Terms of Service, is read with the Privacy Notice, and is collected with them in the Trust Center.
1. What a cookie is
1.1 Definition
A cookie is a small text file a website places in your browser so that it can recognize you on a later visit or across pages. Browser storage (local storage) is a similar mechanism that stays on your device and is never sent to a server. This Notice covers both.
2. Cookies this site sets
2.1 Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept analytics from the banner shown on your first visit, Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_<container-id>, each expiring after 2 years, to distinguish visitors and sessions, and Microsoft Clarity sets _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day) to group page views into a session recording. None is set until you accept, and declining or withdrawing consent removes them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as Decline automatically and never show the banner. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and sets no cookie or similar identifier; it is on for every visitor and needs no consent.
2.2 No advertising
The site sets no advertising, retargeting, or profiling cookie, and no cookie that follows you to another site.
3. What the site does store
3.1 Your consent choice
Your Accept or Decline choice is kept in your browser's local storage under the name consent, with the date you made it, so the banner does not show again. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
3.2 A display preference
If you change the background on the homepage, the choice is kept in your browser’s local storage under the name v5bg so that it holds between visits. It contains only the name of the option you chose.
3.3 A game score
If you play the game on the Play page, your best score is kept in local storage under the name creature-best. It contains only a number.
3.4 Nothing else
None of these values identify you, and all are removed when you clear your browser’s site data.
4. Third parties
4.1 Hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare. To protect the site from automated abuse, Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie on your browser. It is strictly necessary for the service, does not track you across sites, and is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
4.2 Booking
Booking a conversation takes you to Cal.com on its own domain. Any cookie set there is Cal.com’s and is governed by Cal.com’s privacy policy. Nothing from Cal.com runs on this site.
4.3 Embedded video
Where a page includes a hosted video, the player is loaded in a frame from the video host only when that page is opened, any cookie it sets is the host’s, and the host is named beside the video.
5. Your choices
5.1 Clearing storage
You can view and delete anything the site has stored through your browser’s site-data or privacy settings. Doing so has no effect other than resetting the two values described in Article 3.
5.2 Blocking
Blocking cookies or local storage in your browser does not stop any part of this site from working.
6. Changes
6.1 Before, not after
If the site ever sets a cookie that requires your consent, this Notice will be updated first and you will be asked before it is set. The date at the top tells you when this Notice last moved.
