Is the first conversation free?Yes. It is there to work out whether there is something worth doing together, and what shape it would take.

Will this turn into a sales pitch?It is a working conversation. You leave with an honest read on what is realistic now, whichever way you decide to go.

Can we sign an NDA before sharing details?Yes. Mention it in your message and one is in place before anything confidential is discussed.
